Famous as Peace Memorial City. Sacred Miyajima Island, famous for its Itsukushima Shrine, "floating" torii gate, and tame deer, is an ideal day excursion from Hiroshima. Miyajima is an island near Hiroshima, famous for its Itsukushima Shrine and "floating" torii gate.
